Makenzie joined Eastern AHEC in June of 2026 as a Program Coordinator for the Mental Health Education Department. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from East Carolina University and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. She has prior experience assisting with event coordination and is passionate about improving the health of eastern North Carolina.
