Rural Waves Podcast Series
With grant support awarded by the National Network of the Library of Medicine and the Eastern Area Health Education Center (EAHEC) Board of Directors, EAHEC is excited to announce the official opening of Wave Works Studio, its new podcast production space. The studio will serve as a hub for innovative health education and community engagement across Eastern North Carolina.
The launch of Wave Works Studio also marks the debut of EAHEC’s podcast series, Rural Waves: Broadcasting Health, Empowering Communities, that started premiering in June. The Rural Waves series is designed to expand EAHEC’s podcasting initiatives by delivering timely, relevant health information to healthcare professionals working in rural and underserved communities. By reaching providers across multiple healthcare disciplines, the series aims to bridge information gaps and strengthen access to trusted resources throughout the region.
